Below average tasting food. It's a food truck. Was not impressed, really expected better. $90 for 5 people was the worst.
The plates in the photos were $17.99 each. The only thing I liked was the tostones. The chuletas were really hard to chew, and the price for one chuleta and a few tostones is outrageous. The chuleta with French fries was also overpriced for the amount of food. I really wanted to love this place because it's 7 minutes from me and I love Dominican food, but I won't be a repeat customer. I went for salami and tostones, but they didn't have any, so I went with the chuleta. When my husband showed me the receipt, I was shocked. They don't have current prices posted on Instagram, or their board. I stayed hungry because it wasn’t enough food for me. The only reason I am giving them 2 stars is because the tostones were good and fresh. Over $50 for 3 small plates. Editing to reply to the owner. Your instagram is out of date, you have french fries as sides and have salami in your photos. I was just giving ya a shot because im pregnant and was craving tostones. The chuletas might have been big to you but they were soo hard i couldn’t chew it. And as a business your response is unprofessional. I have tried other spots with better chuletas in the area & portions. I added your instagram post to the photos. The empanadas were awesome! Not the fastest place, but they make everything fresh, so makes sense. It made a nice stop on a sunny day.
